Socks are for thesis

Thesis done, I technically have unlimited knitting time ahead of me. Technically. But I have saved up a list as long as my arm of stuff that needs doing, so I have no idea what to do next!
I may CO some mitts for work as pragmatic knitting, but what next? Help me LJ!

Hum. I have just realised that I am not 100% sure I have the "right" yarn for the bat shawl. I do have some black lace, but it might be better in purple...

I like purple liesl but it looks more a summer garment so you'd have to wait to wear it once the weather draws in..

Depends what the yarn is - I made a Liesl in chunky 100% wool last Christmas and it was definitely a winter cardi!

I've got a chunky 100% wool, as it happens :-)

Well, it's a lovely quick knit - mine was done in a week. As long as your yarn is a different shade of purple from mine!

It's multi coloured schoppel-wolle reggae, quite dark, so you should be ok!
I caved and CO for the gold jumper this evening, mainly because the wool was in easy reach, plus it is winning. I'm still debating about the 'other person' project.
